The Wheel Lock Extensions provide increased leverage to make locking brakes on manual wheelchair wheels much easier. These brake lever extenders slip onto the existing brake lever of the wheel chair wheel.

Wheel Lock Extensions are made of steel with a black rubber tip and are sold as a pair. These brake extensions are designed to fit Invacare, Medline, Evermed wheelchairs and most other brands of wheelchairs. The rubber tip allows users to easily push down or pull up on the brakes, and safely cover the end of the steel tubing. Wheel Lock Extensions enable wheelchair users with one hand or limited mobility to successfully lock the wheelchair brakes. By making it easier to lock the wheelchair wheels, the risk of a fall due to unlocked wheelchairs may be reduced. Wheel Lock Extensions are available in 6 inch or 8 inch lengths.

8" wheel lock extenders

Put them on my mother-in-laws wheel. She''s in a nursing home and couldn''t find the short handles or work them very well. After installation, she works them fine.

Arrived promptly. Easy to install on the wheelchair. Fit perfectly. Gives me great leverage for my brakes. Had difficulty due to finger amputations
