The Diestco Wheelchair Weather Chaps are lap, leg, and foot covers that fit snugly around the body, and have a removable fleece lining. Both feet slip into the bottom pocket, then the top covers the legs and lap for waterproof protection.
Diestco Wheelchair Weather Chaps are made from high quality durable nylon with a urethane coating for moisture resistance and durability. The fleece lining is easily removed and reattached to provide extra warmth. The bottom pocket is contoured so nothing gets caught in the wheelchair wheels. The removable fleece lining provides extra warmth and protection. The top is secured with a 1-inch wide webbing strap. 4 inches above the foot pocket a 1/2 inch Velcro strap is attached to secure the wrap behind lower legs.
Diestco Wheelchair Weather Chaps are available in 3 sizes: Pediatric size for children and small adults, Adult size, and Extra Wide. Pediatric size measures 30 inches long, 27 inches wide, and the pocket circumference is 14 inches high and 19 inches wide. The Adult size measures 47 inches long, 27 inches wide, and the pocket circumference is 15 inches high and 20 inches wide. The Adult Extra Wide size measures 48 inches long, 36 inches wide, and the pocket circumference is 15 inches high and 28 inches wide. The top is secured with a 1-inch wide webbing strap. 4 inches above the pocket a 1/2 inch Velcro strap is attached to secure the wrap behind lower legs.
