The Handi-Grip MAX Gel Handle Reacher by The Helping Hand Company features a unique soft grip gel handle, straight trigger with locking mechanism, rotating jaw, and stick clip. The soft flexible jaws are bright yellow to provide increased visibility when picking up small items like a hairpin or an earring and provide a nonslip grip even when picking up a blouse or the newspaper. The jaw is designed to mimic how your finger and thumb pick up things and has soft contours and ridges to pick up even small, hard-to-grip items. The jaw can rotate 90 degrees to enable an easier, more secure grip. To rotate the jaw, hold the jaw and collar and pull, rotate the jaw, then push back and secure it in place. The trigger features a button that locks the jaw in place. The lock is easily released by pulling the trigger only. A clip for securing the reacher to a walker or wheelchair tubing is included.
