The Amputee Board for Wheelchairs provides seating support for lower extremity amputees. This solid seat wheelchair insert is made of lacquered natural wood and features an extended leg rest for below knee amputee support.

Amputee Board for Wheelchairs is a durable 5-ply birch plywood board box with slots for one or two leg support inserts. The adapted seat with extension helps prevent knee flexion contractures of the amputated limb and supports the limb to prevent swelling in the stump. The Amputee Board is placed under a wheelchair cushion to provide maximum support for proper positioning for amputees. The design of the board allows a custom cushion to be used, and accepts one or two inserts. One Insert is included with the Amputee Board. For double amputees, an additional insert can be ordered. Each Insert measures 6 inches wide, 28 inches long and has a 6 inch wide, 9 inch long, 3 inch high cushion. The 1 inch high Amputee Board is available in dimensions of 16 inches long x 16 inches wide or 18 inches wide x 16 inches long.
