The Safe-t-mate Wheelchair Alarmed Safety Belt offers a restraint-free reminder while alerting attendants of a potential fall. At the moment the belt is separated, an alarm sounds reminding the user to remain seated.

The Safe-t-mate personal alarm features a 95 dB horn sound, has a soft silicone jacket for drop protection, a tamper resistant switch, low battery warning, and an adjustable mounting strap with upholstery clip. It is powered by a 9 volt battery, which is included. The Velcro closure belt has a bright red pull strap that facilitates in locating and releasing the belt, and brass grommets for mounting.
