The
Safeguard Wander Alarm with Motion Detector
detects movement of a person in a bed, chair, room or doorway to alert the caregiver. An audible alert can be set on the motion detecting transmitter, or can be set to signal a chime or vibration on the wireless chime receiver.
The Wander Alarm with Motion Detector is an easy to install wireless motion sensor system designed to help prevent falls and wandering. The sensor can detect the movement of a person in a bed, chair, room or doorway to alert the caregiver. Once activated, the wireless motion sensor sends an alerts that help is needed.The small receiver can be mounted wherever convenient, and can be placed up to 100 feet away from the motion detector. An audible alert can be set on the motion detecting transmitter, or can be set to signal a chime or vibration on the wireless chime receiver. The Wander Alarm with Motion Detector is ideal for use above a door or bed, next to a stairway or to monitor other areas to help prevent loved ones from wandering.

Wander Alarm with Motion Detector Specifications:
Power:
Requires two 9 volt batteries, one for the sender, and one for the receiver. Batteries not included
Receiver range:
Up to 100 feet depending on building construction.
Set to chime:
The alarm will sound at the sensor.
Set to remote:
A signal will be sent to the pager/receiver.
Mount sensor on a bed, chair, hallway or door
Includes a receiver for remote monitoring

Q:
1. Can the motion sensor be turned off from the monitor 2. How loud dB is the chime? Is the volume adjustable? Does the chime sound from the monitor?

A:
The on/off switch is located on the sensor and can be set to just sound at the sensor or sound the receiver as well. It cannot be controlled with the receiver.
The Alerting chime ring level: 80 to 85 decibels, is adjustable, and both the sensor and receiver will sound when triggered.
