U Step II Walker Tall is a multiple-wheeled mobile walking frame designed with a stable, easy to roll, wide U-shaped base, padded seat, and an innovative braking system. Designed for users with neurological conditions including Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, ALS, MSA, and PSP, the unique wheelbase is extremely stable and provides support in every direction. This tall model features extended handlebars for users 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 6 inches tall.
Using the U Step II Walker is not like pushing a standard rolling walker. The U-Step II surrounds the user and moves with them. The unique wheelbase and frame are extremely stable and provide support in every direction. This walking aid will not roll until the user is are ready to walk. The innovative braking system is easy to use and allows complete control. The user lightly squeezes either brake release lever to move the walker. Once the lever is released, the unit stops immediately. This feature is particularly helpful when standing up from a chair because the unit will not roll away. The unique frame and extra-wide wheelbase help prevent falls and increase walking independence. The U Step II Walker has larger front casters to better manage uneven surfaces, folds, and unfolds with a single latch instead of two levers.
The U Step II Walker Tall fits users from 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 6 inches tall, and the hand grips adjust up to 41.5 inches high.
