The Cushion by Essential Medical is designed to enhance seating comfort while providing support and pressure relief for the coccyx. The rear cut-out section helps eliminate direct contact between the coccyx and the chair for pressure relief during sitting.

The Cushion by Essential Medical has a contoured surface that is designed to comfortably fit body contours and the ergonomic wedge design encourages correct sitting posture. The large center opening provides increased airflow and relieves pressure on the coccyx. The front has 2 lobes that provide increased cushion stability for more even weight distribution. Traditional ring cushions are smaller, so body weight is dispersed over a smaller area which causes increased pressure in the body areas in contact with the ring. This combination ring cushion, sitting wedge positioning cushion, and coccyx relief cushion also features a molded design that distribute body weight more evenly. The stretch knit cover has a carry handle and is removable and machine washable.
