The Skil-Care Adjustable Lateral Support Pads are adjustable panels that can accommodate different body widths from petite to bariatric users. These wheelchair supports prevent lateral leaning in a wheelchair, geri-chair or a standard chair. The foam-padded sides adjust in or out for comfort, and are height-adjustable so that they can be easily positioned below the axilla and do not interfere with the user’s ability to self-propel their wheelchair. Three sizes accommodate petite to bariatric users. To determine the proper size, measure the width of the patient’s back just below the armpits. Small size fits torso width from 10 to 15 inches and the outside width measures 14 to 19 inches. Medium size fits torso width from 12 to 19 inches and the outside width measures 16 to 23 inches.
