The Press Down U Step II Walker is a durable wheeled walker with an easy to use press down braking system. This multiple wheeled mobile walking frame provides support in every direction for users with walking or balancing difficulty due to neurological conditions including: Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, ALS, MSA and PSP. The Press Down model of the U Step II Walker is designed for users who cannot squeeze the standard walker hand brake. By lightly lightly pressing down on the soft rubberized brake handle, the brakes can be released to allow the walker to roll. When the handle is released, the brakes are engaged to prevent the walking from rolling. The user can either press down on the left or right release lever, or flip the brake bar over and press down to release the brakes. The innovative braking system is easy to use and allows complete control. The walker will not roll until the user is are ready to walk. This feature is particularly helpful when standing up from a chair because the unit will not roll away. Choose left or right hand brake (one brake handle controls both sides of the walker). The U Step II Walker has a unique frame and extra wide wheel base help prevent falls and increase walking independence. Users will find that this mobility walker is not like pushing a standard rolling walker. The unique wheelbase and frame is extremely stable and provides support in every direction. The U Step II Walker Medicare code (HCPCS) is E0147. Note: U Step II Walker Cueing Module Laser Accessory is sold separately. Press Down U Step II Walker Guide U Step II Walker Information
