The Action Akton Pilot Flotation Pad with Basic Cover is a viscoelastic gel cushion recommended for use on manual and power wheelchairs, truck or taxi seats, or for other uses requiring significantly reduced high-pressure areas, vibration and shear. This one full inch gel cushion provides exceptional pressure relief for most users with a pressure ulcer history.

The Action Akton Polymer Flotation Pad with Basic Cover is one full inch of Akton polymer that protects clients with fragile skin integrity by immersing bony prominences. The low profile height allows manual wheelchair users to comfortably reach the floor for foot-assisted mobility. The gel pad also conforms to pre-contoured foam or rigid cushions to maximize stability and positioning for increased comfort.

The Basic Cover included with the Pilot Flotation Pad is made of a durable stretch knit material. Soft black pontae fabric cover has a non skid bottom with zippers on 3 sides, and is removable and washable. Choose from the following sizes: 16W x 16D inches, 16W x 18D inches, 18W x 16D inches, 18W x 18D inches.
