The Action Akton Polymer Flotation Pad with Incontinent Cover is recommended for use on manual and power wheelchairs, truck or taxi seats, or for other uses requiring significantly reduced high-pressure areas, vibration and shear. This comfortable gel cushion protects clients with fragile skin integrity by immersing bony prominences. The low profile height allows manual wheelchair users to comfortably reach the floor for foot-assisted mobility. The Action Akton Polymer Flotation Pad conforms to pre-contoured foam or rigid cushions to increase comfort, reduce pressure and maximize stability and positioning.

The Incontinent Cover included with the Pilot Flotation Pad is made of a low shear material, and is designed to protect the user from full contact with voids by allowing fluids to flow through to the moisture-resistant layer. The soft black fabric cover has a non skid bottom with zippers on 3 sides, and is removable and washable.
