The Safe-t-mate Personal Fall Monitor is ideal for users who are at risk for falls when getting out of a wheelchair or bed. The magnetic alarm alerts caregivers of a potential fall as an alternative to a restraint.

The Safe-t-mate Personal Fall Monitor can be used on a wheelchair, bed, walker or stationary chair. At the moment the cord is pulled away from the unit, an alarm sounds reminding the user to remain seated. The alarm box does not have an on/off switch. The alarm will sound at the moment the magnet is pulled away from the metal face plate and can only be silenced by re-applying the magnet. This fall monitor alarm features a 95 dB horn sound, has a soft silicone jacket for drop protection, low battery warning, and an adjustable mounting strap with upholstery clip. It is powered by a 9 volt battery, which is included. The cord assembly can be adjusted from 18 to 32 inches long for a variety of applications.
