The easy to install Brass Offset Swing Clear Door Hinges are made of heavy duty brass and widen a doorway 2 inches for easier walker and wheelchair accessibility. Expandable door hinges push the door out of the way giving you access to the full width of the doorway frame, making it easier to get a wheelchair or walker through the doorway.

Rather than cutting a larger frame and installing a bigger door, the Offset Swing Clear Door Hinges Brass are cost effective and can be retro-fitted to handle most residential doors. Expandable Z shaped door hinges use the same screws and holes as the existing hinge.

Note: For residential doors only. You need at least three inches of clearance on the inside of your door between the wall and the edge of the door jam in order for the offset hinge to work properly.
