Gait and Transfer Belts

Gait and Transfer Belts are used to help transfer patients who are partially dependent, have some weight-bearing capacity, and are cooperative. These belts are designed for assisting people when transferring such as from a bed to a chair, from a chair to another chair, or from a chair to a car, as well as when repositioning in a chair, and support during walking.

The purpose of the Gait and Transfer Belts is to decrease strain on the care giver and to provide support for the client.
