The Fit Grips Pro Hand Rim Grips provide increased gripping power and comfort for wheelchair users. People who have difficulty gripping and pushing their wheelchair will find these colorful, ergonomic grips helpful.

By increasing the circumference of the wheelchair handrim, Fit Grips Pro minimize stress on the hands, increase gripping power, resulting in pushing with less effort. The grips are easy to install and stretch to securely fit on any standard 24, 25 and 26 inch manual wheelchair hand rim. The grips wrap 3/4 of the way around the push rim, leaving the underside of the rim exposed. This design increases grip, improves efficiency and power, while making it easier to start, stop and turn. Fit Grips do not require tape or glue for installation, can be taken on and off the handrims as often as needed, and do not leave any residue when removed.

I purchased these rim covers from another site. I hate them. They only cover about half the circumference of the rims (at least my 1" diameter rims), and they are much wider on one side than on the other. I grip most of the circumference of the rim with every push, and with these covers that means half of my grip is still slippery and uninsulated (i.e. extremely COLD in the winter). I will be returning these immediately and going back to vet wrap until I can find something more suitable. Very disappointed!

The grips work great. I have arthritis and gripping my push rim in the morning is hard. The extra diameter helps and soft rubber instead of slippery metal is good.

Unhappy

We ordered these handsome to our 15 year old daughter to use on her chair. We thought they would be new since we were paying $74+ . They came with dried glue stick inside them and you could tell by the discoloration they had been used. The tube of glue that was sent was also used. It had a screw stuck in it instead of it being new with a cap. I tried calling the company but have been unable to reach someone this far. The salesperson apologizes and says they will transfer me only to disconnect me. We did manage to clean them up and get them on her wheelchair, which which as not as easy as videos show, because our daughter has been needing them for some time. Needless to say, we are very unhappy. ***Customer was contacting the manufacturer, not us. We contacted the customer upon seeing this review and worked through the issue to her benefit.***
