The EZRide Plus Wheelchair Power Power Assist is a battery-powered motor attachment designed for manual wheelchairs. This easy-to-attach electric motor transforms a standard manual wheelchair into a powered wheelchair.

The EZRide Plus Wheelchair Power Assist is an easily portable wheelchair attachment that provides battery power for a manual wheelchair and is a fraction of the cost of existing scooters and power wheelchairs. The device converts a standard 14 to 22-inch wide wheelchair into a powered chair by attaching to the wheelchair frame. The motorized attachment allows users to easily move over smooth or rough terrain without straining their arms, hands, or shoulders. Users can maneuver tight spaces with its 360-degree turning radius, and it is powerful enough to climb inclines of up to 30 degrees. The motor has 3-speed settings: ECO (3 mph), MED (6 mph), and HIGH (12 mph). The power assist is designed with a kickstand, hand brake, throttle, light, horn, and treaded wheel. The built-in kickstand keeps the unit freestanding upright and ready to use between outings. For storage or travel, simply fold the handles in. The treaded wheel provides traction on smooth or rough surfaces. The brake handle position is easily customizable for the user's comfort. A multi-tool is included and allows the brake handle to be adjusted for users who have a decreased strength or a comprised grip without reducing safety. Users can travel up to 15 miles on a single charge of the rechargeable battery. The LED Display shows Current Speed, Speed Setting, Battery Level, Total Mileage, Cumulative Mileage, and Current Speed. A battery charger storage bag is also included that attaches to the wheelchair or can be carried. The EZRide Plus Wheelchair Power Assist fits folding manual wheelchairs. For rigid-frame manual wheelchairs, please order the EZRide Accessory Kit. The kit makes attaching the unit to any type of chair easier and increases comfort for the user. For example, the struts help extend the EZRide further out from the chair, making it more comfortable for a taller rider. The Butterfly Tow Bar Clips fit tubing that is larger than 1 inch in diameter. Each kit includes the Tow Bar Extension, Handle Bar Extension, Butterfly Clips, Struts, and EZRide Grab Handle.

Please note: The EZRide Plus Wheelchair Power Assist is NOT recommended in sand or on loose gravel. To attach the unit, the user needs to be able to hold, push and pull 18 pounds for 3 seconds.
