The Drive Duet Rollator-Transport Chair combines the features of a rollator walker and transport chair together in an easy-to-use mobility aid. Users can use the rollator walker to ambulate safely with support or sit down and be pushed by a caregiver. To use as a transport chair the armrests flip up and lock in place, and the footrest flips down. A safety lock release is secure the armrests and a hook and loop fastener strap is used to secure the footrest. The contoured padded backrest is reversible depending on whether it is needed on the front or back and does not require tools for attaching. The seat is padded and has a carry pouch attached for keeping personal items secure. Inside the pouch is a handle to assist with folding the device. The folding frame has a lock-out feature to ensure the unit stays open while in use and ensures the unit will stay folded during transport. The 8-inch casters are ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
