The Action Akton Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch is a 100% smooth viscoelastic polymer that provides multi-functional applications for traditional and non-traditional seating challenges. This versatile pressure relief gel pad can be used on arm pads, foot plates, head rests, leg rests, and splints or braces.
Akton polymer won't leak, flow, or bottom out, and it is tissue equivalent. It moves with the user, not against them, to reduce pressure and shear, the two leading causes of pressure sores. The gel pad is also easy to clean with standard disinfectant, does not support microbiological growth, and won't absorb body fluids or odors.
The Action Akton Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch is intended for comfort only when used as a cushion, not medical intervention. Please note, if 1/2 inch pad is used for a seating cushion, pad must be used with an Action brand cover for warranty to be in force.
