A full 1 5/8 inch Akton polymer provides effective weight distribution on a contour or flat surface. The Professional Cushion provides an additional 50% cushioning against pressure, shear, and vibration. This is significant for those active clients using a power wheelchair who have increased concerns about bottoming-out and the potential effective of increased temperatures (due to foam insulation properties). Great for wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters or for other situations that require prolonged sitting.
